Martijn van Rijen

Martijn van Rijen specialises in liability and insurance law. He completed his Master’s degree in Civil Law at Leiden University in 2022.

During his studies Martijn worked at two law firms in both Rotterdam and Leiden and at the district court Rotterdam. He was president of the Civil Law Study Association in Leiden.

After his graduation Martijn started his career at HabrakenRutten. Martijn acquired knowledge and experience in the field of liability law and construction law.

Martijn has been admitted to the Rotterdam Bar as a lawyer in February 2023. Martijn joined VanNiekerkCieremans in September 2023.
